Wiggle Wire

Wiggle Wire (or Spring Wire) is a low-cost method to attach plastic sheeting to polytunnels or greenhouses. The fastening system locks the plastic, netting, or fabric (shade cloth) into place using an aluminium channel to keep your greenhouse weather-proof.

Wiggle Wire is easy to install and can bend effortlessly to assist installation. You can install and adjust multiple layers of plastic and shade cloth without disturbing the existing layers.

What is Lock Channel?

Lock Channel is the fastening system used to lock the plastic, netting, or fabric (shade cloth) into place. Lock Channel is often produced from aluminium to allow flexibility, following the polytunnel structure.

The Wiggle Wire (PVC-coated steel wire) and Lock Channel (Aluminium) are supplied in a minimum length of 2 metres; however, longer lengths are available. The Lock Channel is typically screwed onto timber. Its flexible aluminium design allows it to conform to the curve of polytunnel hoops.
