What is Hot Rolled Steel ?
Hot rolled steel is produced by continuous rolling from semi-finished steel products. Producing ‘continuously’ keeps the market price of hot rolled steel lower. Hot rolled steel doesn’t have the best quality or tolerances. The production method leaves the steel with internal stresses and an oxide on the surface, known as mill scale.
What is Hot Rolled Coil ?
Hot rolled coil (HRC) is the basic flat steel product of the hot rolling process. Hot rolled coil is produced from steel slab and further processed to sheets and slit coil.
