What is Galvanised Coil ?

Through continuous hot-dipped galvanising a protective zinc coating is applied to cold rolled (and hot rolled) coils, to prevent corrosion. The zinc layer acts as a barrier, safeguarding the steel from rust and corrosion by sacrificing itself if scratched or damaged.

Galvanised steel coils offer strength, durability, and cost-efficiency, finding widespread use in manufacturing, construction, appliance and automotive industries.

Galvanised steel products are produced from both cold-rolled and hot-rolled steel. Generally, hot-rolled steel has a better yield strength than cold-rolled steel because the cold-rolling process breaks down the grain structure of the steel, while hot-rolling improves it.
